Energy and habitats
How can humanity access more abundant energy and extend sustainable habitats beyond Earth?
S2E / SINGULARITY TO EVOLUTION
S2E (Singularity to Evolution) is a distributed AI collaboration platform in development. It aims to connect researchers, domain experts, engineers, agents and computing resources worldwide, enabling sustained collaboration on difficult problems shared by humanity.

01 / SHARED QUESTIONS
Ambitious questions give us a shared direction. Verifiable research tasks make collaboration possible.
How can humanity access more abundant energy and extend sustainable habitats beyond Earth?
How can we reduce the constraints of disease and aging, and better understand life, cognition and consciousness?
How can people, agents, knowledge and resources distributed around the world build a lasting capacity to solve complex problems?
02 / COLLABORATION
With agents as its collaboration interface, S2E seeks to organize expert experience and research methods into capability modules callable with authorization, and turn long-term ambitions into verifiable research tasks.
Explore sustained access to expert experience, research methods and tools within explicit permissions, reducing repeated communication and delays in collaboration.
Start with a clear question, define task boundaries and validation criteria, and support verifiable outcomes with methods, code and research evidence.
Explore blockchain-based contribution records, privacy-preserving computation for controlled sharing, and bounties, research funding and resource exchange to support sustained participation.
Possible tasks within the long-term directions include control or materials problems in fusion, decoding stability in brain–computer interfaces, and thermal management and cost models for space-based computing. Turning specific questions into verifiable tasks gives distributed capabilities a starting point for working together.
03 / CURRENT STAGE
S2E is currently using a small-sample demo in finance to refine task collaboration, outcome validation and contribution records, gradually building the capacity to expand into other scientific fields.
Organize collaboration around questions, objectives and boundaries, and refine how people and agents participate.
Submit methods and evidence against explicit requirements, improving workflows for verification and reproduction.
Record participation and contributions within tasks, exploring records that support further collaboration.
04 / BUILD TOGETHER
Guided by public-interest research and community collaboration, S2E values strong thinking, self-direction, shared interests and an evidence-driven mindset. Researchers, developers, research institutions and resource partners are welcome to help build it.
Start a conversation around a question you care about, research experience, tools or computing resources you can contribute. A clearly bounded task can help define participation, permissions and validation criteria together.
S2E hopes to make one person’s important discovery a starting point for others to continue exploring.
